Our business, structure and supply chains

EDI is a UK based company operating within the UK. Our organisation is a platform for sharing diversity and inclusion

opportunities. We provide a platform for Employers, Universities andstudents from diverse backgrounds to engage and interact and

ultimately create a diverse pipeline for organisations. To this end we partner with a number of organisations. EDI has a zero tolerance

policy to Slavery and Human Trafficking. We are committed to preventing act of slavery or human trafficking within our organisation

and require a high standard of operation from those organisations that partner with us. Our team of 5 members have all committed to

our anti-slavery policy and are encouraged to identify and report any potential breaches.

 

Due Diligence

  • We expect our suppliers and business partners to have anti slavery and human trafficking policies and processes in place to govern 
    their business practices and operations
  • Whistle blowers are protected through our confidential reporting processes
  • Our contracts include a clause relating to the Modern Slavery Act outlining our expectations of business partners
  • When Procuring services EDI follows the advice and guidance in relation to Modern Slavery Act set out in the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply code of professional conduct
  • When Procuring services EDI follows the advice and guidance in relation to Modern Slavery Act set out in the Charted Institute of purchasing

 

Training

Our anti-slavery and human trafficking policies are included in our staff hand books and our commitment is outlined in the mandatory

induction training.

Our Effectiveness

The above processes and our commitment and expectations of our partners, will ensure that we prevent any anti-slavery practices from

our operations and business practices.
