How will the Windrush I Accelerator 2026 work?

• Students will work in a team of 5 to develop a solution to the challenge presented
• Various workshops will be delivered by Microsoft and partner organisations
• Students will develop a presentation to be delivered to senior managers
• Students will also have the opportunity to build their professional network

Program Highlights:

• Microsoft AI Certifications: an opportunity to achieve AI-900 AI Fundamentals or AB-730 AI Business Professional certifications
• Microsoft Project: The project will create an agentic-based solution to a current challenge faced in Barbados
• Innovation Introducing students to Design Led Thinking concepts, Data analytics
• Networking Opportunities: Build valuable connections with local professionals, community leaders, members of the Caribbean diaspora
• Sponsorship: Funds will sponsor 4 undergraduate students: Flights, Accommodation, 3 Excursions breakfast and logistics for all 30 students
